Terms
Before we begin.
These terms are an agreement between you and POLEX Zbigniew Kubinski LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Tucu”, “we”), which operates the Tucu app and this website. By creating an account in the app you accept them. Last updated 1 October 2026.
Who can use the app
You must be at least 18. Some features need identity verification by the providers we work with, and they or we may ask for more information to meet anti-money-laundering, sanctions and tax rules. You may not use Tucu if you are located in, or a citizen or resident of, a country or territory under comprehensive United States sanctions, or if you appear on a sanctions list.
What Tucu is
Your wallet is yours. Tucu gives you a wallet secured by Privy’s key infrastructure. Tucu never holds, controls or can access your key or your funds, and cannot move them. If you lose access to every way you sign in, Tucu cannot recover your funds.
One asset, one network. Tucu supports USD Coin (USDC) on the Base network, unless the app says otherwise. Anything sent to your address on another network or in another token may be lost.
Paying a merchant. When you scan a merchant’s code and confirm, you sign an authorization for an exact amount of USDC to go from your wallet to a payment partner in that country, which pays the merchant in local currency. In Argentina and Brazil that partner is Manteca or one of its group companies. Your signature fixes the amount, the destination and the time window, and no one, Tucu included, can change them. Tucu sends the transaction you signed to the network and pays the network fee. If it is not sent within its time window, it expires and nothing leaves your wallet.
Adding money. Bank details for adding money are provided by Bridge, a Stripe company, under Bridge’s own terms, which you accept in the app. Bridge issues the details in your name, receives your transfer, converts it to USDC and sends it to your wallet. Bridge is responsible for identity verification, sanctions screening and monitoring on that service, and decides where it is available.
Where payments work. Merchant payments are available in Argentina and Brazil. Countries and payment methods can change.
Tucu is software. Tucu provides the app, the connection to these providers, and the sending of transactions you signed. Tucu is not a bank, a money services business or a money transmitter. It never takes custody of your funds, never receives the money you send to merchants, and never holds your bank money. Your funds are not insured by the FDIC or any government body.
Prices
The app shows every price before you confirm, and the price shown is the price applied.
- Adding money by US bank transfer or SEPA transfer: 1.5% of the deposit. Sending USDC to your own address: free.
- Paying a merchant: 1% of the amount plus US$0.20 per payment. The exchange rate is the payment partner’s rate, and its margin is inside the rate.
We may change prices for future transactions. A change never applies to a transaction you already confirmed.
Limits
Payments have limits per payment, per 24 hours and per 30 days, shown in the app under Account, then Limits. They can depend on the country, the payment method and our providers’ requirements, and we may change them for operational, legal or risk reasons.
Finality, failures and refunds
A transaction confirmed on the blockchain cannot be reversed. If you send funds to a wrong address, Tucu cannot recover them.
If a payment fails before your USDC leaves your wallet, nothing is charged. If it fails after your USDC left, the payment partner returns it to your wallet, and the app shows the return and when it is due. If a return is late, write to us and we pursue it with the partner for you.
Completed merchant payments are final. Refunds for goods or services are between you and the merchant. If the merchant refunds through the payment partner, you receive USDC for the refunded amount at the rate then applied.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your phone and the accounts you sign in with secure.
- Check the merchant, the amount and the rate before you confirm.
- Follow the laws that apply to you, including tax reporting. Any taxes from your use of Tucu are yours.
- Do not use Tucu for fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion or anything illegal.
Closing an account
You can delete your account in the app, as described in our privacy notice. We may suspend or close an account for a breach of these terms, for legal or provider requirements, or for risk reasons. Your wallet stays yours: you can export its key from the app while your account is open. Once an account is closed, its sign-in is deleted and the key can no longer be exported through Tucu.
The website and the waiting list
This website describes Tucu and what we are building. Joining the waiting list is free, does not create a financial account, and does not guarantee early access or reserve a launch date. Use an email address you control. Do not submit other people’s details without their permission, automate signups, or interfere with the website. Check current details with the relevant provider before relying on information about an external service. Other websites we link to have their own terms.
Disclaimers and liability
Tucu is provided as is and as available, without warranties. Public blockchains and our providers can fail, congest or change, and Tucu is not responsible for that. Tucu gives no financial, investment or tax advice. USDC is a digital asset issued by a third party and carries its own risks.
As far as the law allows, Tucu is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of US$100 or the fees you paid Tucu in the twelve months before the claim. You will indemnify Tucu against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms or of the law. Tucu is not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside its reasonable control, including network, blockchain and provider outages.
The app, this website and their content belong to Tucu or its licensors. You may use them as intended, and may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or resell them.
Changes, law and contact
When these terms change, we publish the new version here with a new date. Continuing to use Tucu after that date means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, and disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Wyoming. The sections on finality, responsibilities, disclaimers, liability and governing law continue after an account closes.
